Monthly Tarot forecast for April 2017

I can hardly believe that we’re almost in April already – how this month has flown! But you know what that means, right? It’s time for your monthly Tarot forecast for April 2017! Here are your cards.

Monthly Tarot forecast for April 2017

Remember, this is a general reading, and my intention with this one was: What do my blog readers need to know most for this month.

This three card reading looks at our blessing, challenges and how we can make the most of the month ahead.

These are some really interesting cards! Our blessings and challenges are both about finding balance. But since our blessing is a major arcana card (Temperance), it means that we probably have the opportunity to resolve some deeper lessons and issues this month. Perhaps we have been ignoring our own well being in order to please everyone around us. Or maybe we have bitten off a lot more than we can chew. Our lessons will become a lot more apparent to us as April progresses, I suspect!

The challenge is in trying to find a balance between giving and receiving (6 of Pentacles). Are we the wealthy merchant, or the supplicants kneeling before him? If we’ve bitten off way more than we can chew, we’re likely to find ourselves running out of resources – be it time, or health, or even the means to physically and realistically cope up with all that is on our plate. In fact, this month, balance could well be a sweet dream.

The best way to make the most of the month ahead (Knight of Swords) is to hang tight and get down to work. Make a list each day of the most important tasks that need to get done and focus on knocking them off the to-do list one at a time. We are going to require some serious energy – and we will have to dig deep into our reserves – to get through April, but it is a time too of significant opportunities. Instead of moaning about how much you have on your plate, edit your tasks down to the most crucial things and then focus on getting them done.

I hope this reading resonated with you! Do let me know in the comments!

  1. That’s great advice and an apt reading for April for everyone, Shinjini. We know most of us will be enjoying the A to Z challenge and these tips are timely!

    Wishing you a wonderful April!

    • That’s exactly what I thought the minute I drew these cards! I love how the Tarot just reflects things back at us, making us look deeper and draw some lessons from the experience!

      Happy April!

    • Yes, list making has been an important element in helping me tackle the multiple things I have on my plate! Hope you have a lovely April.

  2. Love this! It totally resonates with my plans for next month. While I used to be a mega list maker, I’ve fallen away from it over the winter, and was already planning to get back on track. Thanks for the reminder and the encouragement!

    • Awesome! I’m so glad it resonated for you, and served as a timely reminder to make those lists! Wish you a lovely April, my friend. 🙂

    • They are really intriguing, aren’t they? And each reader brings a different flavor to their readings, which I love!

  3. resolve some deeper lessons and issues Don’t we all have some problems in our lives? I often wonder if we go from problem to problem ….and yes always I’m looking to balance things out……Thanks for the insight and the solutions!

    • Hmm…I look at it as lessons in mindfulness and coming back to myself. Everything external that has the potential to rock our world, can only shake us if we allow it to. I think that choice is always ours. Which is one of the reasons why I love the Tarot – it offers so much wisdom in how to deal with the chaos and challenges that are a part of our daily lives. And as with all advice, we can choose to follow it or ignore it. 🙂

  4. Like I mentioned , sounds like a personalized reading for me .
I am looking forward to April to find some balance. March was a roller coaster ride and as I settle down now , in much more control – the first two cards display my state of mind to the T. The last bit holds true for both of us with AtoZChallenge isn’t it?
