Imagine this...

It's a quiet evening. You have just about an hour to yourself. You pull out your art journal (or sketchbook) and your paints, press play, and paint with me. By the end of the evening, you would have created something whimsical, colorful, and uniquely yours.

But if you're reading this and thinking This sounds lovely, but I don't have an hour! don't worry - I've got you! Take 10 stolen minutes for yourself every day, and within a week, you would have created a whimsical art journal page.

What you’ll walk away with

By the end of this course, you will:

  • Create a complete lotus-inspired art journal page from start to finish
  • Learn how to create whimsical backgrounds, mark making, and stenciling
  • Learn simple composition ideas
  • Experience 2 guided meditations to support your inner alignment
  • Explore soulful journaling questions for reflection and clarity
  • Discover supply alternatives so you can use what you already have
  • Build skills you can repeat in future pages with new results each time you paint

Perfect for you if:

  • You want a creative practice that feels nourishing rather than demanding.
  • You don’t want “perfect art,” you want meaningful art.
  • You want someone to guide you gently, without overwhelming instructions.
  • You need creativity that supports your nervous system rather than stressing you out.

This is the kind of session I create for myself on evenings when I need to come back to myself — when the world feels loud, when my mind feels busy, when I’m craving color and quiet at the same time.

If that’s where you are right now, come sit with me at the painty table.

Let’s create something beautiful together...

Testimonials

"I have been following Shinjini's artwork on Instagram and I love how she calls it soul art. Every time I have said I want to paint but don't know where to begin, she has told me you only need to pick up a brush and some paint and the rest will happen. And she was right! I really enjoyed this lesson, the way she explained everything, and the gorgeous lotus that I painted!" - Jeanne

"What I loved was how reasonable the course was priced and the upfront list of materials you would need - with the must haves clearly mentioned. Inside are well-thought out, clearly articulated videos that take you step-by-step on what you need to do right from materials, alternatives, how to draw, how to do the background, etc. etc. This is the place you can begin your painting journey from so dig right in." - Suchita Agarwal

Here's a timpe-lapsed video of a small part of the process I had shared on Instagram. Your lesson videos are not sped up so fast, and I explain each and every stroke and decision I make while painting this page.
