The Daily Pause – a forty card oracle deck
I designed this beautiful, colorful oracle deck to bring in some stillness, to give us a word or an idea to reflect on as we go about our day.
I’m thrilled to bits to share my very first oracle deck with the world! Each of these cards features my colorful original abstract art with symbols that were either stamped, collaged, sketched, or found within the layers of paint.
The Daily Pause oracle deck is supported by the four elements – earth, air, fire, water – and a carefully thought-out structure that connects the cards, while leaving the door wide open for synchronicity, play, and intuitive insights.

There’s no learning curve involved with using this deck.
You don’t need to know how to read tarot cards. You don’t need to have worked with oracle cards before.
It can be as simple as this:
Take a few deep breath to come into the present moment.
Pick up the deck, shuffle the cards, pull one out.
Look at the word. Reflect on it. What does it mean to you?
Use the word as a journal prompt and write if you wish.
As you get more familiar with this process, try asking a question. Any question.
Here are a few to get you started:
- What energy will support me as I go about my day?
- To what do I need to bring my awareness today?
- What energy will help me with my creative practice today?
- What can I write about today?
And then, shuffle the deck and pick a card. What insights does the word on the card bring up for you? How can you put those insights into action?
Put the card somewhere where you can see it, carry it with you as you go about your day, take a photograph of it and use it as the lock screen on your phone so you’re reminded of the message every time you pick up your phone, or simply put it back into the deck. There’s no wrong way to do this!
