Let’s kick the month off with a little self-love-o-scope Oracle reading. My intention with this reading was to offer you the self-care actions or tips you need the most at this time, and to see what energies would assist you in each of these areas.
I used a self care oracle card deck that I picked up years and years ago. I’ve lost the original box, so I can’t tell you who the creator of the deck is or even what it’s called! I’ve paired each of these cards with a Tarot card from Doreen Virtue’s Angel Tarot deck. I chose this deck for this reading because its messages are gentler {and sometimes slightly different from the Raider-Waite}, much like most of Doreen’s cards.
I decided to pull four cards – one for each week of this month. Here are the cards:
We start off gently, with a Retreat to listen to the voice of our soul. January can sometimes be a challenging month, what with the excitement of a New Year and big goals and intentions for the year ahead. Towards the end of the month, we start to realize that we actually need to work on those big goals if we hope to see them come to life! The Moon indicates that we may have some fears or worries playing at the back of our minds. But the time is perfect to awaken to our own potential and figure out exactly what we are calling in to our life. And what better way to do this than to make some time for a retreat to rest, rejuvenate, and come back with our A-game on!
As we go into the next week, you may have had some interesting insights or new ideas. Perhaps you uncovered an exciting new direction you want to go in after your retreat. Whatever the case may be, it’s time now to move in the direction of your dreams, to spread your wings and fly. As you do, though, remember to count your Blessings – a good way to do this is to keep a daily, weekly or monthly gratitude journal.
As you start to work on your new ideas and directions, it’s time for you to embrace new Opportunity by releasing your ties to the past. When you let go of the old, you make way for the new. And that’s important, especially as you gain more clarity on your vision for the year. Use this week to focus on your goals and make a plan of action to go out and achieve your big, beautiful dreams!
We end the month with a bit of Pleasure! As this card so aptly reminds us, pleasure is one of life’s essential nutrients. If you’ve followed this guidance during the month, you should find yourself firmly poised for success. You have a very clear idea of where you are headed and what it will take for you to get there. Spend some time this week on a little relaxation and pleasure. Acknowledge all that you have achieved, and take a little pause before you go full tilt ahead next month!
I hope you enjoyed this reading! If you did, you may like to book a Tarot reading with me to gain deeper insights into any issues impacting your life.
Do hop on to my Facebook page as well – I do a free oracle reading there every Saturday!

In the United States, we are facing much challenge and change. This new President intentionally tries to shock and awe. This requires us to focus more than ever, but there’s also opportunity. Have you ever done readings for an entire country?
Oh yes, we are following the developments pretty closely here as well!
I recently heard a really interesting podcast on using Tarot for global issues, so I know it can be done. I’ve never tried it before, but I’m willing to give it a try!
I want you to open a school for teaching these. Hope all of us have a great February
Teaching Tarot readings?

I don’t know if I ever mentioned this, but I have always found Tarot very intriguing, and even tried the learn it from a Tarot Master. But it was around that time that I had to move to US and I never got around to finishing the whole thing.
I enjoyed this reading. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

Gratitude journals are really beautiful – all the best with staying consistent! There will be posts all this month to help you with your self-care journey too! 😀
Feb sounds promising! I love Feb as it is but I think it just flies away before I realize! I love this self-love-o-scope readings Jini!
Yeah, Feb does fly away, doesn’t it? Probably because it’s also a shorter month. Glad you enjoyed the reading. 🙂
