It’s been a reflective September – a lot has come up in my journal for me to work through and integrate. And as I look forward, I wonder what the coming month has in store for me. Because as much as these are general readings for the collective, they contain clues and wisdom for me as well. And while I will do another reading that is specifically for myself, related to the exact areas that I want to focus on, these general monthly readings help me get a sense for the energetics of the coming month. I hope they do the same for you!
Remember, this is a general tarot reading for October 2018 for the collective.
Tarot reading for October 2018
October is a good month to take positive action towards achieving some of the goals that may currently be on the back burner. The Emperor offers just the right balance between taking up new projects with zest and zeal, and tempering it with careful planning. It would be a good idea to break your goal down into smaller steps and then map out the action you need to take to achieve it.
If you’ve been faced with a problem or sticky issue that you have been unable to solve, try doing something similar. Instead of looking at the enormity of your problem, try to break it down into its various parts and then see what action you can take to start to resolve each of those parts.
With Diwali round the corner, October could also be the month that you’ve dedicated to spring cleaning the house. And if you’re anything like me, that may seem like a huge, insurmountable problem of ginormous proportions. {Surely I can’t be the only one who has allowed piles of junk to accumulate in various corners of the house!} Some meticulous organization and planning can help you to tackle all those pockets of clutter and to spring clean like a boss!
While The Emperor brings its fiery energy, meticulous planning, and ability to focus and get things done, pushed to the extreme, it can well lead to burnout and a feeling of tiredness and overwhelm. As you plan and strategize your goals and tasks, make sure that you’re also building in some periods of rest.
Also, don’t forget to delegate! You don’t always have to go it alone – household tasks, for example, can be divided among family members. Similarly, if you’re working on an important goal or on a project that is likely to involve some serious time commitment, see what you can drop from your schedule for a while. It’s not possible to juggle everything at the same time!
But with the festivities and the realization of the year winding down towards an end, you may well be tempted to try and do it all this month. But remember, doing so will only leave you feeling tired and overwhelmed!
I hope this reading resonated with you, and if you have any questions at all, do let me know in the comments!
And if you need some support or guidance in any area of your life, consider booking a Tarot reading with me. I’ve been told they’re really helpful. 😉
I need to clear that clutter as fast as I can. Now that we’ve moved to my parents’ place it has doubled – theirs and ours!
Clutter clearing can be quite a pain! I’ve got a few areas around the house I want to tackle myself! All the best with your decluttering project!
I remember your September really had an impact on me… lets see what October brings… lots of unrest still
Hope you can sort through things and find some answers and direction!
Lot of changers for me on the professional and personal front. October is also the time for Durga Puja. Let’s see how it goes.
All the best with everything that you have on your plate, Sonia!
Goals, check. Planning, check, Cleaning, check. Delegation, check.

That’s some good advice. I need to declutter my mind for sure.
