I don’t know about you, but this year didn’t feel “new, shiny” in January. There was a lot of planning, thinking, and an easing in, at least for me. The only thing that really took off is my time at the painty table.
So when I saw these tarot cards for February, it felt like a “Hell, yes! Let’s get 2019 started!”
Tarot reading for February 2019
All that new year planning that you’ve likely been doing? This is the month to put down some concrete steps to determine just how you’re going to get there. It’s easy to stay in planning mode, just imagining all the things you can do. Actual execution, that’s where the true magic really lies! And this is the month to really break out of any inertia you may have been feeling, and get to actively working towards achieving your goals.
There also seems to be a strong emphasis on family and relationships. Maybe you need to work out some new arrangements on the home front to make time for yourself. It feels like a new set of negotiations regarding roles and responsibilities will be needed – and maybe, for some of you, a new relationship will mean reprioritising and rethinking how you spend your time.
This is an important skill to master, and one that can be mastered. Juggling home and family with work related responsibilities and your own interests may seem nigh impossible, but if you examine how you’re spending your time and where you’re putting your focus, you will be able to identify your time wasters and free up time for your own pursuits and interests.
This is key to achieving the full potential of not just this month or year, but also of life!
I hope this tarot reading for February resonated with you, and if you have any questions at all, do let me know in the comments!

New arrangement on the home front has started for me already and it is taking every ounce of my patience to stay calm! Maybe patience is the new important skill I need to master.
Thanks for the reading, Jini. Seems perfect for me, so far 🙂
Breathe! I hope you’re able to master the arrangement in a way that works for you! xx
The year felt shiny and new for a week and then the ‘flu hit me. I now have restart the year and it’s taking time! 😉
I hope you are feeling better now, Corinne! Just ease into February – allow your body the time it needs to heal completely. xx
While this January has gone pretty well for me, I agree with you. There is no one perfect time to start, but most people give up when January doesn’t go as planned. Though the reality is, many times it takes a while to get our act in order, and Feb is as good a month as any to go full steam ahead on our goals. Wishing you a happy, productive February!
Yes, and often, people give up within the first two weeks itself! We have become the instant gratification generation!
Agree!
Looking forward to February!
There is absolutely no reason to give up if January is not what we planned! There are 11 more months to go!
Let’s do it!
Absolutely!!
I don’t know how you do it, but this is exactly what I am going through right now. Since the last five odd days I was just praying for Jan to get over. All that planning and excitement for 2019 and Jan turned out to be shi##y as hell. Here’s to a beautiful, productive Feb and as you said, let’s nail 2019! 🙂
(((Hugs))) You’ve got this, Shalini! <3
After a depressing 2018, January went off really well for me. I got back to my positive self and spirit. I am grateful to the universe for making all my efforts, I undertook in the last 2 months of 2018, work in my favour vis-a-vis my mental health. I look forward to February. I have a goal in my mind for this year and your post prods me to start working in that direction by taking the first step of laying the foundation in February. Your post fills me with hope, endless hope.
I’m so happy to hear that January was good, and even happier to know that you’ve found your positive spirit again! Wish you a fabulous February!
I thought January was shiny until something hit us. So the reading makes a lot of sense.
I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope you can overcome whatever it was xx
Oh Yes, January was a hard reality check to all the resolutions and plans. February has to be the acid test of my perseverance. And I can already feel the pressure of familial responsibilities getting in the way of my passions. Yes, some work around arrangements will be needed there too.
Wish you all the best for February! Hope you can find a good work around and make time for your passion – it’s such an important part of a happy life!!

How did I miss this? February is my favourite month because it is my birthday month so I always look forward to it. Perhaps my January really was busy and happy and I didn’t get time to sift through my emails…. I had a glorious January and hope to have a great February too. Your prediction about renewing relationships seems to be addressed to me…..
Happy birthday month!! Sending you extra special vibes this month. Hope it’s everything you hope for and more!
