Plus some journaling questions, an astro-tarot forecast and an exploration of the Sabian symbol for the full moon in Gemini

The November 2023 full moon falls in the sign of Gemini. The Gemini archetype is very curious, an excellent communicator, and a disseminator of knowledge. It is the sign of the writer, of those who tend to think deeply, are highly perceptive, and prefer to learn from experience.
Spiritually, the Gemini archetype is about courageous conversation, be it with another person or with the Universe. Gemini adds its vibration to the advancement of culture and civilization through dialogue, be that via books or blogs or letters.
This full moon also highlights our sense of self-worth and self-esteem, which are intrinsically tied to our finances, our emotions, and the things we value. This Gemini full moon encourages us to reflect on our finances and our values, on the ways in which our material possessions are either harming or supporting us. This can be a good time for some decluttering, as well as for cozying up our spaces. This full moon also encourages us to lend comfort where it is needed — to ourselves, our loved ones, and within our communities more broadly.
Astro-tarot influences for the November 2023 new moon
To throw some more light on the November full moon astrology, let’s take a look at the astro-tarot influences of this lunation. The Gemini full moon falls in decan 1, which is represented by the Eight of Swords. This is to be interpreted in conjunction with The Lovers, which is associated with Gemini.

The Daily Pause Oracle Deck
I designed this beautiful, 40-card oracle deck to bring in some stillness, to give us a word or an idea to reflect on as we go about our day.
Supported by the four elements – earth, air, fire, water – and a carefully thought-out structure that connects the cards, The Daily Pause oracle will help you to listen to and trust your own inner knowing.
There’s no learning curve involved with using this deck. Just get quiet, shuffle the cards, pull one out, and reflect on the word you’re presented with.
Put together, these cards serve as a reminder to soften into your own knowing. To loosen the grip of analysis paralysis, of fears and anxiety, and to be present with and accept what is, and curious and open about what may be. To gently shake loose the stuck places and invite in some fresh air and new ideas.
Often, when we feel stuck, it is more to do with the stories that play in our mind. The ones that try and convince us we don’t know enough to make an informed decision; or that convince us that ahead lies failure. But unless we move, unless we choose, we will never grow. And if we never fail, we will never learn. And not growing, not learning, well, that is also a choice!
Another area that is being illuminated by the Gemini full moon is of our relationship with ourselves. How are we speaking to ourselves? What are our core beliefs? Are we allowing our fears and anxieties to paralyze us, and how can we begin to loosen the grip of the negative voice that plays on loop in our head?
These are big asks…big tasks. To decide how we want to show up for ourselves. Pluto, the planet that symbolizes re-birth, is trine the moon during this lunation, helping us to use our power wisely. Old patterns can come to the surface, ready to be transformed into an awareness that will help us move forward with more self-confidence provided we put in the work to improve our inner chatter.
Saturn is also active during this Gemini full moon, helping us to step into the next level of our personal authority, challenging us to grow and develop our relationship with ourselves and with the things that matter to us. But these lessons aren’t likely to be easy. There is a tension here, pulling us between two different needs, forcing us to learn how to juggle between our competing priorities.
But if we stick through this, the rewards will be plentiful. The challenge will be to take bold, decisive, yet considered and thought-out action.

This symbol indicates a call for a step-change, be it a major societal change or a mini reform in your own back yard. It also indicates a willingness for out-of-the-box thinking and a commitment to take action.
However, as Linda Hill reminds us in 360 Degrees of Wisdom: The Sabian Oracle, “attention seeking devices, such as the ‘Sensational Front Page’ should be used very carefully and never against anyone. Once everyone is paying attention, there may need to be an effort to publicize a more reasonable perspective.”
