Tarot spread and astro-tarot forecast for the November 2024 full moon in Taurus

The November 2024 full moon falls in the sign of Taurus. The Taurus archetype is grounded and steadfast, calm and composed, firm and also somewhat stubborn. This is a sign that is practical and earthy, and is associated with material pleasures, desires, luxuriousness, and abundance.

Spiritually, the Taurus archetype teaches the principle of belonging through presence…our presence as sacred human beings…honouring the body temple…honouring the flow of life. This can be difficult given the society we live in, which praises the hustle over reverence and treats time as money rather than a finite resource that should be used wisely in the pursuit of the things that give us meaning.

This full moon also encourages us to shed old patterns, blocks, and goals that may be going nowhere. What excites you? What feels vital and juicy at this time? Focus on that, letting anything that is holding you back from following those clues fall away to the wayside.

This Taurus full moon is also a good time to refresh our rituals. Our small daily rituals can anchor us, providing touchstones on which we structure our days. But it’s all too easy to let them fall to the wayside when things become chaotic, or for our rituals to start feeling stale. How can you refresh your daily rituals? How can you invite moments of daily magic into your days? Recommit to your daily rituals, or design new ones during this full moon cycle.

As the year starts to wind to a close, spend some time acknowledging all that has unfolded during the year so far. Cast your mind back and remember all the ups and downs, the goals achieved and the ones left by the wayside. Consider how you’ve spent your moments — how much of your time and attention went towards life affirming actions, and how much was of it was captured by technology giants who’ve gamed their platforms to steal ever increasing amounts of our attention.

Consider also the state of the world — in your own backyard and neighborhood, and moving across to the wider world. Have you noticed any changes in weather patterns and climate conditions? What about the state of your neighborhood? Of your state and country and the world? What injustices have you witnessed and how have you lent your energy to addressing them? What stories of hope have you heard, and have you noticed how each of those stories seems to heal a crack in your heart?

How are you holding up to the outcome With the recent political developments in the US, how is your

And once your reflections are complete, take a few moments to consider this question: what would truly nourish my soul? If time and money and resources and circumstances were not a barrier, where would I spend my time and attention?

The thing with “ideal world” questions is they can often seem hopelessly out of reach. There was a time when I actively detested being presented with these questions, scoffing as I said to myself: “It’s all well and good to daydream, but none of this is possible for me so what’s even the point of this fruitless exercise.”

Now, though, I look at it as a blueprint. And as with any project management blueprint, there is the possibility of a scope change — a decision made by the project manager and the client to change a feature, to expand or reduce its functionality.

So once you’ve considered your ideal world scenario, try to factor in a more practical approach. Is there a way to add in elements of your blueprint into your current routines? Do you need to create some space in your schedules or maybe even put some other things in place before you can give your blueprint the attention it deserves? Start to noodle over the options, to take the pie-in-the-sky and make it into a more tangible and practical form of nourishment.

Neptune and Uranus lend their energy to this Taurus full moon, helping us to enhance and clarify our vision and set into motion the changes that we need to bring our vision to life. Working with your favored oracle or tarot cards, or any other form of divination, is likely to carry some extra oomph, bringing some interesting and much needed insights to light.

This symbol reminds me of picnics in the park; of playing hide-and-seek as a child; of sitting in the sun, reading a book; of watching young mothers pushing their babies in prams and people walking their dogs in the park. There’s a feeling of nostalgia mixed with the simple pleasure of being out in nature, enjoying a few moments of rest and leisure.

In 365 Degrees of Wisdom: The Sabian Oracle, Lynda Hill writes: “In many ways our society is a ‘Public Park’ and we each play a part in its beauty and success, whether our contribution is by working on the gardens or enjoying the amenities…It is when everyone works together that we can create a useful and lasting result that will be of benefit to the whole community.”

‘Parks’ are also for recreation, but, Lynda Hill asks us, “are you aware of what recreation means to you? Are you in a balanced state of work and play? Your leisure time needs to be tended to and organized, as much as your work life.”
