The last time I hit record on this podcast, I was in the middle of a creative slump. In addition to the stressors that were weighing on me, I discovered that a big reason for my latest slump was exhaustion and burnout — specifically, with information overload.
“I came across this interesting statistic the other day, which said that on a daily basis, most of us are exposed to roughly 74 GB of information. That’s the equivalent of watching 16 movies in a day. And that is a ton of information to have to process each day!”
Tune in as we talk about:
- What leads to information overload
- Setting boundaries around the content we consume
- How to ensure that the content you consume nourishes you
- Conscious consumption
and more!
