Plus some journaling questions, an astro-tarot forecast, exploration of the the Sabian symbol, and additional resources for the June 2022 full moon in Sagittarius.

The June 2022 full moon falls in the sign of Sagittarius. The freedom loving Sagittarius archetype is in a constant search for inspiration, new avenues of exploration, and adventure. This is a sign that gets bored of the status quo easily, and needs the rush of a new quest to keep them on their toes.
Spiritually, the Sagittarius archetype teaches us to cultivate our own personal relationship with the divine. Contrary to what most religions and a lot of spiritual teachers say, you don’t need an intermediary between you and Source/God/the Universe. You have that connection available to you at all times. Learning to tune in and trust that connection is where a lot of us seem to stumble, though.
This Sagittarius full moon also highlights our shifting identity and our sense of self. This is an excellent time to sit down and reflect on all of the changes that the last few years, as well as the recent eclipse cycle have brought about in the things that you identify with and give importance to. Our identities shift and morph throughout our lives, and this full moon helps you gain more clarity on what is important to you, how you want to model your values in the world, and what roles and personas no longer serve you.
Astro-tarot forecast for the June 2022 full moon
To throw some more light on the June full moon astrology, let’s take a look at the astro-tarot influences of this lunation. The Sagittarius full moon falls in decan 3, which is represented by the Ten of Wands. This is to be interpreted in conjunction with Temperance, which is associated with Sagittarius.

The Daily Pause Oracle Deck
I designed this beautiful, 40-card oracle deck to bring in some stillness, to give us a word or an idea to reflect on as we go about our day.
Supported by the four elements – earth, air, fire, water – and a carefully thought-out structure that connects the cards, The Daily Pause oracle will help you to listen to and trust your own inner knowing.
There’s no learning curve involved with using this deck. Just get quiet, shuffle the cards, pull one out, and reflect on the word you’re presented with.
As I looked at these cards, I let out a breath I didn’t even realize I was holding. It felt like looking into a magical mirror — one that reflected my lived experience along with a glimpse, a hint, of a path out of my suffering.
Sitting back, I allowed my mind to wander over everything I’ve been juggling — a full-time, relatively stressful, job; helping my husband with his new business venture; getting a crash course on inventory management; making time for my own art; my writing commitments; putting up a fortnightly podcast and YouTube video; planning and setting in motion an art studio redesign; managing more of the meal prep; and trying to figure out my own questions, confusions, and changes in perspective. No wonder, then, that I feel completely overwhelmed, my mood swinging like a pendulum — from frenetic productivity to numbing depression to a deep desire to drop everything I’m holding and hide somewhere where no one can find me.
And I’m willing to bet I’m not the only one trying to juggle so many things. If you sit back and reflect on all that you are carrying, you may have a list that’s as long or longer than mine. {And if you don’t, please share your tips on how you prioritize and manage your commitments in the comments below — I’m sure a lot of us would benefit from your wisdom!}
In fact, I encourage you to take a moment to list down everything that you are juggling, and everything that you are fully or jointly responsible for. It’s only when I made my own list that I realized just how much I am holding, and the insanity of trying to do it all.
That’s where Temperance comes in. It’s often considered a “passive” card, somewhat boring. I mean, nothing’s really happening here. There’s just a winged angel standing by a stream, wasting her time pouring some water from one cup to another. Meh!
But in the major arcana sequence, Temperance comes after Death. The serene winged angel depicted on this card is the calm after the storm that Death leaves its wake, giving us permission to pause, re-settle, and determine what we really need to go forward from here.
Paired here with the 10 of Wands, Temperance seems to gently remind us to put our bundle of burdens down for a little while so that we can at the very least see where it is that we are going.
When I looked at over at my “10 of Wands” list and saw everything that I was juggling, I put down the metaphorical stick that I was using to beat myself up for not being able to do it all.
Instead, I decided to prioritize that list, giving myself permission to set some things down for a while — even though I really don’t want to — and come back to them once things have settled down have a bit.
So that’s what Temperance reminds you: You literally cannot do it all. Cut yourself some slack. Pare down your list in a way that makes sense for you at this time in your life. Know that you can pick some things back up later — and recognize that you may decide not to pick some things back up again, and that is completely A-ok!

This symbol speaks to me of my peaceful morning coffee, when I could just put my feet up the couch, watch the golden light filtering through the window, and listen to the birds chirping in the trees. It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to take a few moments to do that, though.
For me, it is a reminder to slow down and look for the sweetness of life. To wrap myself up in comfort, and find a way back to a slightly less stressed and panicked state. This symbol is also associated with a comfortable home — making your home, or maybe a little corner of it — a sanctuary.
In 360 Degrees of Wisdom: The Sabian Oracle, Lynda Hill writes, “Observing birds in nature or in your own environment can bring reminder of how wonderful life can be. Birds are seen to be agents of spiritual messages and watching them go about their lives and hearing their calls can bring a sense of stronger connectedness to our everyday lives…If you can’t feel it yet, meditate on the symbol as life is sure to shift in some way. You could hang up a picture of a ‘Bluebird’, or some other bird, as a token of your willingness to receive this ‘Good Luck and Happiness’. This ‘Bluebird’ may actually be a person who turns up in your life, or is already known to you.”

Journaling questions/resources for the June 2022 full moon in Sagittarius
Instead of journaling questions, I’m going to invite you to take this Jung personality test (commonly known as the Types test). Look at the percentages that make up your type, see how they show up for you in your lived experience, and how you can weave that understanding into the way you approach things.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, this can be an interesting — and if you’re nerdy like me, fun — way to change your approach or to understand some things about yourself. Do take this test even if you have taken it before — your results can change over time.
Note: If you’d rather not deal with the information overload of reading an in-depth personality result, that’s not necessary. Ignore the entire write-up, just look at the percentages that make up your type. Then, look at the 5 personality aspects — personally, I found the Tactics and Identity sections to be the ones with the most actionable insights — your mileage may vary.
I hope you give this a try, and I’d love to hear how it worked for you!
