Monthly Tarot Forecast for July 2017

Last night, when I was almost ready to turn in, I was hit with the idea for a new Tarot spread for these monthly forecasts. Instead of looking at our blessings, challenges and how we can make the most of the month ahead, this month, we’ll look at the theme of the month, the challenges it brings, and what lessons those challenges can teach us. Here are your cards:

Tarot forecast for July 2017

Remember, this is a general Tarot reading for July and my intention with this one was: What do my blog readers need to know this month.

The theme of the month: Intense focus

You may be swamped at work, or busy with personal creative projects. There are also likely to be opportunities for you to refine and hone your skills. A new workshop, diligent practice, or perhaps just intense concentration at the job is what may be required in July. As far as possible, try to keep distractions at the minimum.

This will also be an excellent month to pick up a new hobby, or to practice and perfect a skill or technique that will help you with your work or passion projects. But no matter what the main area of focus may be for you this month, it’s likely to keep you completely occupied. So much so that you may feel overwhelmed and exhausted.

It’s important, therefore, to prioritize your tasks and to ask for help where needed. After all, you really cannot do everything alone. Reaching out for some help and support is one way to ease the stress and overwhelm you may feel. Refrain from building things up in your head, that can often make things appear way more stressful than they actually are.

Remember also to take breaks, to pencil in a lunch with friends or an evening out with loved ones. It’s very easy to let work and the various projects you may be involved in to take over your life. But you do need a break from time to time, so that you can come back feeling refreshed and recharged.

If you can successfully navigate through these times, maintaining some sort of balance between doing All The Work and taking some time off to de-stress, not only will it help you to look back at the month in awe at all that you managed to get done, but also to gain a greater understanding of how much you can get done if you only focus and approach things methodically. Knowing how to use your discretion and judgement when it comes to prioritizing tasks, figuring out how to juggle between various projects, and knowing when to put in the work and when to take a break are all lessons that this month is likely to teach you.

I hope this reading resonated with you. Do let me know in the comments!

  3. Focus, all we really need to get things done. I’d told myself to get a hang of it at the start of the year, but lost it along the way. Thanks for the reminder. 🙂

  4. So much resonated! Wirybthe endvif the academic year coming our teacher related work is at an all-time high with assessments and reports and preparations for the folliwing year. I’m already worrying that the holiday time writing I had organised won’t happen dye to family demands ! But I need to step back and chill . Will take your advice most definitely!!!

  5. I’m in the process of learning about Tarot cards. I’ve always been interested in reading them, but I’m not sure I’m doing it accurately. How can you tell? Are there some guidelines? 🙂

    • Ooh! How fun! Well, how you approach the Tarot depends so much on what you believe about the Tarot. Personally, I don’t think there is only *one* right way to read the cards. Nor do I think we need to “memorize” 78 card meanings. So I’d say, go with your intuition, combine it with card meanings, and if you think your intuition makes more sense, stick with it!

      Does that help any? 🙂
