A hilly existence

It’s been a while since I’ve done any creative photography, and will likely be a while still before I do get a chance to do any. In the meantime, though, while I was editing pictures from our last trip to Lansdowne, I thought it would be nice to share some here.

Unhook from the hectic pace of life in this small, sleepy town…

Sleepy street

…where everyone gathers around the grocer to catch up on the latest village gossip.

Exchanging news

Charming abandoned ruins dot the landscape…

Broken bus stand

…observation posts hang precipitously on the hilly edge…

Looking into the valley below

…and beautiful huts with symmetrical stones abound.

Stone hut

Life can be hard, as people walk almost everywhere…

A study in orange

…Or climb into trees to cut wood…

Can you spot her?

…while the men gather together in the evening to exchange the latest news.

Let’s talk
